The Brief

To reach a wider audience, Ashleigh Whittaker, founder of Snack Proud approached Brand Shack and asked us to build an e-commerce website that will enable her to attractively present her products and services to her target market of large companies and workplaces. The website would showcase Snack Proud’s unique business model, as well as service and product offerings through a nifty, easy-to-use website.

The business has a unique product and service offerings and many of its target customers are not aware of how to avail of their service. So the goal is to make it easier for customers to subscribe to Snack Proud’s snack boxes and understand the different options available for them.

The Solution

The solution is to develop a website that goes well with Snack Proud’s established branding and based on Ashleigh’s specifications.

Our team developed an outline of how the homepage will look like. We want to encourage customers to explore the different services and product offerings by placing call-to-actions in key areas on the home page and throughout the site. It was also important to provide helpful information about Snack Proud’s business values and objectives so that customers will understand the story and motivations behind the brand.

We built a responsive and mobile-friendly website to make it easier for customers to place their orders and browse through Snack Proud’s product and service pages on any device.

Content creation dramatically helps the website rank in search engine results pages, so we created a blog for Snack Proud. Every page was optimised for keywords relevant to the business. Social buttons were included to encourage visitors to browse through Snack Proud’s social media pages and share its products and services in their own accounts.

The Result

Brand Shack designed an appealing website that encapsulates Snack Proud’s business and unique brand identity. Customers can easily navigate around the site, with strategically placed call-to-action buttons that they can see clearly.

Including a “How It Works” page shows how Snack Proud’s services work, as well as how clients can maximise their snacking options.

After launching, the new website experienced a spike in the number of visits and views. Organic page views are consistently high at nearly 40% since going live on April 2018. Product pages are also getting a lot of activity and more users are consistently accessing Snack Proud’s web store.
